Overwhelmingly decent, nice laid back vibe. Good coffee. Chill. Not too snobby or trendy, but definitely a bit of attitude. It seems to be the Starbucks for the tattoo and Birkie crowd who stand outside the patio to smoke — not a bad thing. Definitely a good cup of Joe.
I was happy to finally be checking this place out. The coffee was okay but the food, well, not so much. The chicken, leek and potato soup had canned chicken and not much else. It was thickened with too much cornstarch and not very hot. The toast it came with was basically warmed bread. A group of us went and had to squish together at a table for two, which was difficult to eat at. There were larger tables there but they were housing one or two people taking up room with their laptops and not much else. The staff were indifferent. They weren’t rude, just not overly helpful.
