Restaurant is closed. There is no Bombay Sweet House restaurant now. I went to the plaza where the Entertainment coupon directed and after looking in that maze went into a shop and they said it merged with another restaurant and was called something else.
At Bombay Restaurant and sweet house today March 19th, 2017. The owner of this restaurant is the same owner as Nirvana restaurant on 5075 Falconridge Blvd NE. Well they obviously hired the fool pictured in the attachments. He actually set up a couple crates next to the buffet and STOOD ON THE BUFFET WITHIN AN INCH OF FOOD !!!! to change a light bulb with people all around him eating. We left, and could not even finish our food. Made a complaint and showed the images immediately to the lady in the restaurant. She said to go to the owner at Nirvana. This wiz then showed up at Nirvana while I am there, on the phone complaining about needing $20 to pick up something for this job – walking around their dining area with people trying to eat. The person on staff working got the owner on the phone. So with proof, walking out mid meal, complaining, we were offered nothing in the way of a meal discount. The owners only offer was an apology. So awesome customer service !!! insert sarcasm. So while this bozo is working in this owners establishment with NO regard for the customers, the food, the restaurant environment, or Safety….the owner now knowing this info and proof of what this guy did, only offers an apology. I am sending this also to Alberta Health Services. i will never set foot in Bombay or Nirvana restaurants again. Eat there with caution !
Bad food and bad services. If you are not having buffet then probably you have to wait hours to get your order. Despite of such a long wait what you get on table is hardly eatable. And if you dare to have biryani, then at your own risk. This is the first place I saw in my lifetime that serves biryani with chat masala sprinkled on it and lemon slice on top. Plus the texture of the biryani is so bad it looks like a chicken khichdi. It tasted like they have mixed the rice with the chicken curry they serve in buffet and served it as biryani, which most likely is the case as the chicken chunks were of two different colour. Don’t think it’s a place I would like to visit again.
