I came into this place very skeptical since it was a vegetarian only restaurant. They changed my mind! Fresh naan bread and pizza brought out in the buffet, good curries to try. It was like I didnt need meat for the first time in my life. Plus the price was so cheap- $8 for buffet. Worth every penny. The only cons I can say is that it was a little busy and sometimes it felt it wasn’t the cleanest, but the employees were fast to bring new clean plates out and clean up any messes and dirty plates. But I’ll be sure to do a few dinners here now since its a good sit-down restaurant for the price.

Found plastic in my dish and owner refused to accept any responsibility and still charged me full price for the meal. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

No meat in the lunch buffet! No alcohol! That being said, I could deal with the vegetarian cuisine if it tasted good…but it doesn’t. Poor quality food & service. This place is not authentic in any way, shape, or form. Just not a great experience at all So don’t bother!

Buffet is cheap, but considering the place does not have ambience, I decided to order take out thali. Rather than take out thali, it felt more like a food sampler. Not enough food . They advertize that thali has nine items, but none of them (except one naan) is in quantity that you can enjoy. Also website stated take out small bowl is good for 2-3 people, please do not believe that.

Old food. Zero flavor. Can handle there is no meat and respect that but ask the question. They the same owners as Fruitacana across the way. Are you supplying old veggies etc. because it tastes like it.

Happened to pop into this place on the last day of my 7 days in Calgary, this place is a gem for vegetarian indian food lovers. Similar to our local eateries like om sweets and bikanairwala, this place offers variety of cheap snacks, sweets and a $20 buffet which u won’t repent indulging in. Managed by all indian Sikh staff , just one thing I did not like about this place was that a little girl (about 12 years old) was clearing tables and serving food.

Great vegetarian buffet. The food was hot (warm) and fresh as well as tasty and plentiful. The service…non existent. Had to your pour our own water and get our own cans of Pepsi from the fridge. Waitress didn’t even say hello or ask how things were. They just sat at the front and looked out the window.
