Amazing food! Got the Alfredo pasta and barbeque chicken combo. It came with a soup as an appetizer and mango juice. Didnt really like the soup that’s why giving a 4.5 instead of 5. The Pasta and chicken was amazing! Tasted like homemade which is the ultimate compliment for me. Definitely coming here again when I visit Edmonton next. Staff were nice too.

Wow!!!! What a great restaurant. The food was excellent, right from the soup to start. The beef samosas are sooooo good!!!! Everyone at our table of ten loved their meals. Not one complaint. Anyone who hasn’t tried this place is missing out. Thanks for the great experience. We will be back.

This is one of the best restaurants in town. With a simple decor of African art, it’s warm and inviting. The staff is friendly and always at your service. The prices are easy on the pocket, too. Now comes the food. The vegetable soup is simply delicious. The stock, the veggies, the noodles and the spices; all complement each other. The mango and grape juices are really good, too. I’ve tried most things on their menu- from the beef steak to the chicken steak, from the suqar to the sweet chicken, from the isku karis to the pasta caraysan. I’ve liked just about everything. My personal favourites, though, are the sweet chicken and pasta caraysan. The portions are generous and they are ready to make everything according to your preference there. All in all, it’s one of my most preferred places to go to for a scrumptious dinner as they are open till late, which works for me.

very good experience here, walked in and was greeted by very friendly staff, sat down and enjoyed a bowl of soup and mango juice, loved the food here would recommend.

Great Somali food. Prices have gone up a bit recently, but it’s still a great deal. Every somali restaurant I’ve gone to has had generous portions, and this place is no different. Most meals come with a fresh juice, soup, and a large portion of meat and rice (or spaghetti!). Occasionally they seem to provide a whole, un-pealed banana as well. I haven’t quite figured out the banana.

Worth trying. Location was a little intimidating but once inside we were warmly greeted. Friendly place, great food at a reasonable price. A little attention to cleanliness is all I’d recommend for a better dining experience.

Wonderful hidden gem. Had the goat with mufo. Was very good, the goat was perfectly cooked and seasoned-well but not salty. The mufo was very big and filling, but you needed to use the given hot sauce otherwise it would be very bland. Also sampled the rice and pasta caraysan. The pasta was nice and light with just enough olive oil and tomato sauce, to give it a good flavor, while the rice was simply one of the best I’ve ever had, Would definitely return, especially if the prices remain the same. I would avoid the tilapia however, as someone I was with ordered it and it came with only one measly fillet.
