  When I paid my bill the lady took the debit machine before I could rip off my receipt and instantly became extremely rude saying that I didn’t leave her a tip. Sorry but I’m not leaving a tip for someone who literally just brought us some water and didn’t bother to check up on us for the next 5 hours we were there. I leave tips, just not for people who didn’t do shit. We had to go get a refill ourselves. This gold digger needs to learn some customer service if she’s demanding tips. Not coming back here and will tell others not to as well.

  Ripped off and cheated, staff stole our cash and then threatened us.. During my friend’s birthday we decided to go to Yakitori Grill for the first time. I admit that we enjoyed our time at the karaoke until we received the bill and realized that we were being ripped off.64 oz pitcher of beer = ~1900 mL = $20 according to their menu as of May 20152L pitcher of beer = Price not on the menu, $38. The waitress did not tell us the price of the 2L pitcher or that it was different from what we ordered.We ordered three 64 oz pitchers of beer, but they brought 2L pitchers instead and charged us $38 dollars per pitcher. Since 64 oz and 2L are almost the same volume, we had no idea until the bill arrived.Obviously, if we knew that the pitchers we were receiving were $38/each we could have just ordered twice as many 64 oz pitchers and had nearly double the alcohol for the same amount of money.When we brought this up with the staff, they rudely dismissed our comments and poured water from a 48 oz pitcher into a 2L pitcher to demonstrate that there was a difference in volume.We then asked why they used a 48 oz pitcher instead of 64 oz as an example; and they told us that since they had not updated their menu for the past five years it didnt show the new price:48 oz pitcher of beer = $20. 64 oz pitcher discontinued.The waitress did not say anything about this change until the very end, and once we brought it up she again told us she could not do anything about her mistake since her manager was not there. We didnt want to argue further, so we paid our bill without tipping them.Here is where things became crazy:We paid our bill half on cash and half on card: However the staff STOLE money out of what we paid in cash, chased us down in the alley and said that we never paid enough, even though we counted out the money in front of them!We gave them seven 20 dollar bills and one 10 dollar bill for a total of $150. They said that we only paid $135, and they showed us six 20 dollar bills, a 10 dollar and a 5 dollar bill. From the very beginning none of us had any 5 dollar bills; it seems that one of the staff members switched out our cash in anger due to not being tipped. They threatened us that they would check camera footage to prove they were right, and called out the staff members to try and surround us. Feeling threatened, we ended up paying $15 to try and save what was left of my friends birthday.I can understand the issue with the beer volume and not having an updated menu; it is not the waitresses fault. But surrounding us in the parking lot with staff members was a little bit more violent than Im comfortable with, I wont be going back to Yakitori Grill.

  Yakitori Grill. Me and my husband love going to this restaurant. The food is spectacular and the service has been great every time we’ve gone. We will absolutely be returning to Yakitori for some more incredible food! Thank you to the friendly staff and fabulous chiefs!

  Awesome Dining Experience. The food is awesome and the people there are friendly which make Yakitori Grill a great restaurant. Strongly recommend to all people who like jap. grill food.
