The restaurant was freezing, bring a jacket. Food and service was good. they really pushed the fact that they serve fresh food and dont use much frozen food. I find it a tad expensive. Might be nice every once in awhile but wont be a regular.
I met up with some friends at Browns in Chestermere this morning for the first time. The space is well decorated and very clean, can’t wait to go back and use the patio. Our server was fantastic and attentive (Carlene?). Our food came out in a timely manner and was well presented and tasty. I had a wheat beer (The Haiti?) and the Blackened Chicken Ceasar Salad, both were fantastic. I recently had a baby so finding a nice restaurant that is both licensed and kid friendly is a bit of a struggle, but Browns really went above and beyond. The manager (I’m assuming, and I never got his name) went out of his way to make sure the babies (there were 2 babies under 6 months and 3 adults) were accomodated. He went out to his car to find tools to make sure my baby was sitting comfortably (and safely!) at the table. As a new mother, I now also gauge restaurants based on how well they treat my child. So, thanks Browns, we’ll definitely be back!
