Worst Pizza Ever. Three of us had pizza at the Calgary Folk Fest last night. The crust was limp and tasteless, the center was not cooked and cold (not even the cheese melted) and the edges burnt. I have pulled better frozen pizza from my oven. My desire to listen to amazing music overrode the need to return the cold, overpriced pizza for a refund (nearly $20). We had your pizza at last year’s Folk Fest and it was amazing so this was a complete disappointment.
Amazing. As a recently diagnosed celiac, I was carrying in snacks to stampede all week or eating before I went. I was thrilled to find Avatara at stampede!!!!! The pizza was delicious, crispy, hot, amd freshly made. I want to eat there again and again!
Terrible! No Matter How You Cut it!. My second experience with this pizza – because the first one was great! Very very very disappointing! Not just thin – but thinner than the cardboard container it came in! And unfortunately, it tasted like cardboard! Got cold very quickly. Luckyily the toppings were tasty. Won’t order there again.

Gluten Free Never Tasted Soooo Good!!!. Had the Maui on thin crust gluten free. Delish! The dough was perfection – thin & crispy, just the way I like it. Bacon was especially nice. Sliced small & covered a good amount of surface area *super tasty* The pizza was just the opposite of the big heavy, greasy things the big chains sell. My only regret… I should’ve got a whole ‘za (instead of half) so there’d be leftovers! This was my first Avatara experience; I have a feeling there will be many more! 😀
Beautiful thin crust pizza. They were very happy to customize the set pizzas to my liking. My new favorite pizza in Calgary.
