Never been here before and just gave it a try. Ordered ma-po tofu and it was good; Taiwan style vermicelli was terrible – wrong noodle and too wet; gai-lan beef was okay, but too salty. Does not come with rice. Overall, a reasonable place for some quick Chinese food.
Szechuan restaurant that offers lots of choices. For most dishes, you order to share, like you would do so in traditional Chinese restaurants. Decent price, good food given the standard in Calgary. fortwoplz.com
Absolutely terrible. Food is overly salty so you can’t even taste what you’re eating. Couldn’t even finish one dish. Some of the meat was undercooked. One of the worst restaurants, Chinese or otherwise, that I have ever been to. Just go to Soluxe or Silver Dragon for much better food. For cheap good food go to Hong Kong Style Cafe. Just anything but this crappy restaurant.
Delicious indeed!. I really like this place- the food isn’t the best Chinese food I have had in Calgary but it was pretty good nonetheless. My favorite dish was #91: the chilli shrimp. At $16 it is one of the more expensive dishes on the menu, but there was actually a good amount of large shrimp in the dish! It was delicious and well spiced. I will definitely be going back to try some other items on their menu!
Personally, I think it’s one of the best Chinese restaurants in Calgary. With decent prices and great food. Food serve fast and many choices. Recommendations: Yang Chun noodles, fish with chili pepper soup(best), minced pork green beans, spicy diced chicken !! =] they also have lunch noodles are great choices if you want something fast.
It’s the best Szechuan Restaurant I have tasted in Canada. Absolutely traditional Szechuan’s dishes with loads of innovation. Small bistro, huge taste. It deserves your visit.
I went there today after work it was empty as soon as I walked in I noticed this there was a worker sitting there reading witch made me feel uncomfortable because he was staring in my direction, the waitress was nice but was just standing around in front of me waiting for my order instead of giving me space and time, I ordered the sea food vegetable and rice plate, the vegetable was one piece of raw broccoli the sea food was just a bunch of deep fried batter with no fresh sea food it looked horrible I took one bite and I told the waitress I’m not going to eat it And she said i might have to pay since i took a bite i said no where in the menu says deep fried stale sea food I will never go bank
