Good enough for the price.Their noodle soup tastes really good if you add enough chili oil, or my prediction is that you would be disappointed.
Great soup. Visit Gui Lin if you like Asian noodle soup. I’ve been here way too many times, but I always leave satisfied. You get a free soup after you’ve had ten bowls of soup, which is an added bonus. Of course, it’s all about the soup. I find that the service at Gui Lin is good (i.e. no waiting around) and the soup is great.
My favorite noodle place!. I’ve been there for dozens of time already, love it! They serve the food very quick and the noodle always taste so yummy. It comforts my stomache every time I go. Highly recommend if you like Asian food.
Hole in the wall, but good. This place has some decent noodle soups for decent prices. It’s hard to compare to the noodles that I have had in Guilin, China, because they are done quite differently. In Guilin, buying a bowl of noodles means that the noodles are handed to you with a couple of slices of meat, and you add the soup and condiments such as fermented soybeans, chili flakes, sauce and other sides on your own. From what I remember, the broth for these noodles is quite basic in China (chicken, pork bones), and is often added after you are done eating the noodles, whereas the noodles at this restaurant are assembled, ready to eat. The beef in the beef flank noodle soup is quite tender and flavourful, and the toppings help add some variety to the soup. If I were to compare anything from this place’s noodle soup to China’s, it would be the master sauce. The ones in China obviously have slightly more depth to them, but this place’s sauce still gives the soup a good, distinct taste. This is a solid place for some lighter noodle soup that isn’t pho. I personally don’t care as much about the service in Asian restaurants, but service is pretty standard and really, really fast.
Nice noodles! Avoid lunch rush hour 12-1
Come here all the time for lunch, great family restaurant. Good sized portions and super cheap prices. Delish!
Great soup. A group of us working downtown always like to come here when thinking of having Chinese noodle soup. We always order beef flank noodle soup. # 3A ( I think). We love the flavor of the soup. Very tasty.
