I hate to speak poorly about a food truck but how is this one even in business still when it was one of the first!? I ate at it two years ago and had the worst tacos that were so spicy I couldn’t even taste or finish them and i waited forever to even get them after I ordered. I was craving tacos and the truck was close so I decided to give it another go two years on today. The chick taking the orders was so rude and they had no veggie option so I decided to pass. I’m not giving up cash or calories to a place like this. Get it together amigos.
FIRST & LAST VISIT. I stopped by Los Compadres last night shortly after 9:30 to place an order to go. Asked the young lady helping me about a couple PORK items on the menu. Wasn’t given really clear answers. She recommended the steak, which I said I did not want. As her answers on the pork were ambiguous I decided to order the Chicken Tacos. Guess it really didn’t matter what I chose to order, maybe they only had steak left because when I got home and opened the to go box I discovered they gave me Steak. Tried a bite – the steak was chewy and dry, overall bland and flavorless. The whole lot went into the garbage. Would’ve called to let them know about their error but they were closed. I plan to call them later today. Doubt I’ll ever go back. What a disappointment
Feels Just Like Home!!!. I was not sure about hitting the truck because of the reviews but It was the best decision ever Finally I can Taste the true Flavors of Mexico here in Calgary. If you have not tried it you really are missing in a real taqueria flavor. Los tacos de Cranitas are my Favorite!! Their Salsa is perfect for that spicy kick!! I was surprise to enjoy a Jarrito de Tamarindo Oh it made me miss my Hometown!!!
One of the worst food trucks I have been to. Went to this food truck today for lunch. After being open for only 30 minutes they were out of one of the food items, and there was only 3 items available in the first place. After waiting for 3 tacos for 40 minutes, our order was lost, the people behind us were served first, then we were finally given our lunch. The tacos themselves were fairly tasty, a little bland, but not quite worth $10 for 3 small tacos. All in all a little dissapointed about the food and service.
Went there with the aim to support local while Im at the stampede and not only were they so rude to me the food was bland! Generally tasteless. I asked for hot sauce and the lady told me that there was hot sauce on there. I said can I have more, she said no. The churro was good. Thats about it, very sad to be so dissapointed! I didnt eat one through, I threw those tacos away! That bad.
The best tacos ever. I was very happy about the food , when In April 2013 the tacos . They were delicious and people think that is fast food is like a restaurant just mobile . Everything is fresh in here. I love them and I can wait to eat at there restaurant .
