I’ve never had their food but I love the bubble tea here! Probably one of the only places in Calgary that can make a great winter melon tea! Their pearls are also made well, which is really important! The honey green milk tea is great as well. The right amount of sweetness where you can enjoy both the sweetness of the honey, and the green tea flavour. The service isn’t that great but tolerable.
The size of the dine-in bubbletea is amazing! I highly recommend they’re Panda Milk Tea and the 3Q Milk Tea which contains pearls, pudding and lychee jelly. We ordered their popcorn chicken and you get quite a large amount for $5. It’s also a nice study area!
i’m one of those people that were drawn in by the sheer size of their dine in bubble tea cups, haha.on that note, you get quite the bang for your buck ordering bubble tea here. those mugs are huge! the flavor isn’t as strong as i’d hope, but it’s passable. there’s a large variety of teas to choose from, as well as toppings. we ordered some of the fried chicken bites, and they were honestly so good (salty, but so good) that we had to order another. overall a nice place to have a good chat over some decent bubble tea and food if you’re in the downtown area.
This is a decent place to grab bubble tea in the Chinatown area. The bubble tea drinks come in a huge pint size glasses. Good selection of drinks ranging from milk teas, sherbets, smoothies, teas, Taiwanese drinks, and yogurt drinks. You can choose to add tapioca bubbles, jellies, pudding, red beans, salty caramel, or boba (juicy bubbles). They also have a small food menu to satisfy your salt cravings. The food is so-so and the selection is very limited.
Came by for their Taiwanese Deep Fried Chicken w/ Rice today, and as always, it doesn’t disappoint. The chicken is delicious– flavorful and very crispy, the veggies tasted fresh, overall, the meal goes really well together. Although I think the price increased for this dish? I’m not sure. It’s been awhile since I went there. I had their Thai Milk Tea and it wasn’t very flavorful as other Thai Milk Teas I’ve tried at different bbt joints. So I would not recommend that drink. The environment was quiet and homey, the service is friendy, but it was semi-cold in there.
I used to like their bubble tea before, but the recent visit. The bubble is less favor. The food over there became really greasy and smaller portion. I dont think i will come back again
i like the DONG GUA TEA! Excellent! sometimes order may a bit slow when they get busy at that times but i dont think they can suppose like a MC D, Burger K…., can wait can go……lol
