This place SUCKS. This place is a joke and takes service to a whole new level of bad. Waited in line for almost 10 minutes today when one of the workers’ friends walked in, skipped the queue and just started ordering in front of me. No chance I’ll ever go back, especially with so many other choices along Stephen Ave. and the Food Trucks usually parked nearby.
Not Bad. Will likely return. Great location on Stephen Avenue. I went to this place to satisfy my donair craving. The restaurant atmosphere was nice, with lots of natural lighting. The food was warm and tasty enough. It’s mediocre. The price is comparable with other donair joints I’ve been to. I’ll probably return again.
Cold Fritters. Literally around the corner from my work, I finally tried this place today. everything looked and smelled pretty good, and the service was excellent. Unfortunately the actual falafel was not even room temperature, but cold. I ate about 1/4 of it and couldn’t finish it. Disappointing for sure, because I’ve heard good things; Shawarma Knights keeps the title as my favourite in yyc.
