Worst service ever… don’t come here expecting to get your food ‘quickly’. We waited over an hour for our three bubble teas and laksa to come to the table. It’s been a few years – how have they not figured out that their terrible service is what keeps people from coming back? Not to mention the waiter got extremely bitchy when we took out a plastic bag from our purses (one we had gotten from chatime earlier) to put our bubble tea in for takeout (we totally forgot the bag said ‘chatime’ on it). He didn’t give us a bag to put our bubble tea in for takeout either, not sure how he was expecting us to take several bubble teas home with us.On the plus side, their bubble tea and snacks are not bad, and prices are reasonable. I would only recommend going to Quickly when you don’t have anywhere else to be, especially since there’s many other bubble tea places in Chinatown that have better bubble tea (ie. O’cup, Chatime, etc.)

Location isn’t super convenient as it is located in a plaza in chinatown. The food is okay with interesting but not terribly good items. We tried the condensed milk toast and beef noodles. Our drinks are standard bubble teas. Interesting story with this… our server was clearly sick with a cold, and we watched her barely be able to make our drinks, and then sneeze in a few directions. Luckily, we are Asian and can survive anything, but it might gross out some non Asian patrons. Make sure you take advantage of their loyalty punch card.

This place has also been very consistent with service, drinks and quality of food. Quite a busy place that seats about 30-35 people tops. Recommend this place for snacks, drinks or a light meal. Lots of variety and prices are reasonable.

I just was driving through Forest Lawn the other day and saw a plaquard billboard for this store, and thought i would check it out. I am disappointed that there are really no places to get smoothies in Forest Law, or my neighbourhood of Southview. There is no Booster or Jugo Juice at all, so when your thirsty and need to cool off, its either an iced capp or a 7-11 slurpee. So I go into this Quicklys and am greeted by a very lovely and friendly young Asian lasy, she walks me through their menu, and I try a passion fruit and mango Bubble Tea, and she put these little red pearls on the bottom that burst when i sucked them up the straw into my mouth. While I was there the manager comes over and talks to me, very friendly guy, gives me some coupons, and even walks me to the door and holds the door open for me like I’m Royalty. Their Bubble tea was one of the best I ever had, very creamy, flavourful, and refreshing. The store is very clean, modern, and easy to relax and feel at home in. So I went back a few days later to try some of the tasty dishes i had seen in pictures on the menu boards. I have been eating vietnamese Pho soup for 20 years, and for a while I was eating it 3 or 5 times a week, but after a while you get sick of the stuff. It seems that on 17th Ave there are like 30 vietnamese restaurants, but no Taiwanese restauranst, until Quickly came around. I am growing very bored and sick of vietnamese food, its always spring rolls and soup… LAME. Anyhow, the curried chicken stew bowl was amazing. And I had a nice desert, it was vanilla ice cream surrounded by 4 differant BLUE items, blue berries, blue grape jelly, blue tarot, and blue beans. haha yes blue beans, I have never seen such a thing. Anyhow it was the perfect desert, a mix of sweet and tangy, crunchy and smooth. very enjoyable. I feel I will become a regular to this place. I only hope that to many people don’t start going there and killing the ambience. I want this place to be my little secret.

Too sweet for me had issues finishing it personally and with other options in the city I’m finding it difficult to give them another chance.

This place was definitely a miss for me. We had a table of 5, including 2 kids and even they didn’t like their food. Service was alright, nothing memorable either way– but I’ll definitely remember the food.We ordered, chicken wings, bubble tea, chicken curry and shaved ice, and nothing was good. These aren’t elaborate or difficult recipes.. so I don’t understand. My cousin was 7 when we ate here and even she could tell her chicken wings weren’t good.. how do you mess up wings? The food was so awful, I cringe when I pass their mini store in T&T. In a city where Asian cuisine is plentiful, you can definitely do better than quickly. Don’t waste your time or money.

Oh Quickly…. the most inconsistent in food and service. Every time I come here, the service is terrible. None of the staff know the menu. I usually get a laksa, some days it’s great, but one day I ordered and the broth was a grey-brown.. yuck! Another time I came in for dinner with my friend. She ordered laksa which came within 15 minutes. I ordered an ice cream waffle. My friend was almost done her meal and my waffle didn’t even arrive yet.. I asked about it a few times and they said it’s coming. When my friend finished, I asked to cancel it. At that moment 4 employees came running out of the kitchen with my waffle. Another time, my friend ordered their chowder, and got food poisoning. Quickly is a pretty good stop for drinks, but the food is whats hit-or-miss. When it’s good.. it’s really good!! But there is no in between.
