This food truck came to my school carnival and I’m glad they did! I got the smoky Montreal sandwich I think it was called…but it was delicious. A little sloppy, I must say, but it makes up for that by the juicy and tender meat. There is also some type of special sauce or mustard on the sandwich too, and usually I scrape of the mustard in sandwiches and burgers but this mustard I left on ’cause it was delicious. It was a bit pricy though. I recommend this to people who are sandwich-lovers and are looking for something new to try!

Quantity greatly reduced for smoked meat hash- left still hungry. Guys, what happened? For the last 2 years I always got the smoked meat hash. It was a really big meal- the container was nearly full. Yesterday I got it, and the quantity was reduced by probably almost 40%. I asked if that was normal, and the cook said he always makes them the same size (not compared to years past . .) Don’t cut down on the quantity to save a few cents, because you’ll lose customers. I was hungry all afternoon .

Smoked Meat with a twist. Since moving here from the East I’d been missing Montreal Smoked Meat… There isn’t a Schwartz’s, Dunn’s or Shopsy’s when I need one!But Gabe and crew showed up one day with the real deal… but dressed up in ways that they didn’t even think of in Montreal and Toronto. I fell in love with the hash from the first bite and only wish they’d been this adventurous back East years ago!Be warned though… an order of the hash is definitely a full meal… Plan on having a full stomach! It’s too bad that RWD will have to hibernate for the winter I guess… I’ll be going into withdrawal for a few months!

Great Grub!. I have frequented Gabe’s diner for almost a year now and have never been disappointed with either the friendly company or delicious menu items. My colleague and I look forward to visiting the Red Wagon Diner on days when it is near, and we never miss an opportunity to order our favorite: The Hash!We are always welcomed by Gabes staff and it makes the overall experience definitely worthwhile! I would encourage everyone in the core to support our local businesses, but especially, The Red Wagon – you will be pleasantly surprised (as I am each time).

Well Balanced. Not the sort of food that I’m into that the first time I saw the Red Wagon, I skipped it because I didn’t know what to order. Luckily they have a website and reviews on here with the pictures really helped. The Smoked Meat Hash looked like the one that I most was interested in. It tasted good, very quality ingredients. The meat, hash, onions and egg (minus the mushrooms and banana peppers) it all balanced well together, very gourmet taste and worth a try, even if it’s not the type of food that you are into. What I tried was really amazing and will definately try something new from the menu again ^^I like that the cashier ask if I wanted pickles, slaw and drink. It’s nice in case I forgot if I want some or not, but then I changed my mind ^^U The guy that handed me my food was really nice too. He said, Thank You Fu instead of just calling out Fu like most food trucks do, just call out your name. It was a pleasant change. I also like that it’s not just cash only, they have debit, visa, … which is also really nice 😀
