Ordered the ribs – they were so fresh, grilled right in front of me. I really loved the marinade that was used as it had loads of flavour. The dish cost $15, so the price was a little on the steep en, nor did it come with any real sides, just ribs on a bed of shredded lettuce. I would have liked to seen a meal deal like most food trucks have, because this one would make you order stuff separately, which can add up quick. I would hope this place open a dine in restaurant as I’d probably be there all the time!

Delicious. The veggie samosa was very flavourful and the beef mishkaki was grilled just right with a delicious blend of seasonings.Nothing on the menu is stunningly original but the flavours are excellent.Prices were, in my opinion, a touch high but on the other hand food trucks tend to have higher prices and the portions were generous.Overall, definitely worth a visit.

Family, Food, Fun. Zamil is the man behind Take It And Go. We initially had TIAG out for our staff Drive In Movie Event last September and it was a total hit! Particularly the Samosas and BBQ ribs…you should try them! Since then, TIAG has visited us on our lunch hour a few times with their crew, and very yummy East African cuisine. Zamil is always a smiling host, and really considers weather conditions and wait times of his customers. One afternoon was so windy, he insisted on delivering the food to us inside so we wouldn’t be waiting in the cold. The Take It And Go family has taken fresh ingredients, good flavour and the love of food to new heights and destinations around our ever-growing city. Thank You Zamil and family for always being amazing. See you on Friday, January 31st for lunch! Sincerely, Adriana Laratta; Communications/Marketing | Country Hills Toyota Scion

Fabulous Flavors and friendly. Our show, the Caprices Fine Arts Pre-Holiday Event, was lucky enough to have Take It And Go join us. Their food was just the right note of exotic flavor to add to the overall festivities. Both the artists and attendees loved the mix of tasty East African and Indian dishes offered. I had the best vegetable samosas I ever ate in my life and the beef curry was amazing. The beef ribs were tender and delicious and a favorite with a number of the artists. One person got some, the others tried them, then they were all making a trip to the truck for their own.And Chef Zamil Jassani and his family were so sweet and friendly. At one point there was the possibility of the weather turning very nasty and cold- a little too cold and uncomfortable to wait outside for your food. They offered to set up inside the hall or to take orders inside and deliver them to the customers inside so they wouldn’t have to go out and wait in the frosty weather. I was so impressed by their thoughtfulness! They wanted to make the event experience as pleasant as possible for everyone involved and to help in any way they could. I was so happy they were able to be there. You see, they actually were stepping in at the last minute for another food truck who was having mechanical difficulties with their truck. The original food truck people contacted Take It To Go and Zamil came to the rescue with only a few days notice. Bless their hearts!I definitely will be contacting Take It And Go again for my next event and recommend others to do likewise.

Great Samosas :D. When I was in high school my friend introduced me to samosas at this store runned by this senior Indian couple. They had two kinds of samosas: beef & veggie. The beef was very popular but I like the veggie the best. Very homemade taste with a good amount of spice that I can’t handle but ate it anyways on occassion because I really loved the homemade taste of their samosas. The store got renovated into a cafe and since then I have tried many samosas but never as good as that senior Indian couple I can still picture buying, eating and enjoying that homemade samosa today.I was at the Inglewood Night Market where I bought all the different varieties of samosas the Take It And Go food truck carried: Veggie, Chicken And Beef. It was not that close to the end of the night but there was a lot of people, only two other food trucks & they were all selling out of food fast, only one last beef samosa left, so the sales clerk gave it to me for free since I was ordering quite a few samosas I was stocking up for lunch the next day ^^U I always eat samosas with sour cream to take away some of that too spicy for my sensitive taste palate to handle to make it just right. When I tried the Take It And Go samosas I didn’t need much sour cream. In fact I was able to handle all of the samosas on their own without sour cream. The flavours and balance of the spice (not that spicy at all) really came through. I can taste why the beef samosas are so popular. It has that nice light but really good hearty flavour to it. All of the Take It And Go samosas (Veggie, Chicken & Beef) the flavours were very nice, well balance on their spice and flavours. The samosas were so good that it reminded me very close to as good as the very first samosas that I tried from that senior Indian couple. Take It And Go samosas to me are almost on par to that homemade taste of the very first samosas that I tried because it is very good but different in their ingredients & flavours. I’m hooked and I can’t wait to catch the food truck again to stock up on samosas 😀 Even the next day, they were very good and flavourful, the test of great quality. Open to try other different food at the Take It And Go food truck when I can catch up to the Take It And Go food truck again.
