Its a small restaurant in China town with mediocre but cozy ambience.. The service was amiable.. The food was really enjoyable and tasty.. Tried lots of vegetarian dishes starting from veg spring rolls, proceeding to the main course where we called for yellow curry and green curry both with veggies and tofu. The green curry had a strong bamboo flavor and was slightly on the spicy side which you could either instantly love or hate. In my case, fortunately I loved it !!! The yellow curry was a much milder and subtle in taste.. Along with the curries we ordered coconut rice, and vegetable fried rice which was super amazing.. They also had a type of Indian roti that one could try with the curries which came as a pleasant surprise..Overall had a delightful experience and enjoyed every morsel I ate.. Also the variety and amount of vegetables used in all the dishes was simply amazing! For a veggie lover, it was a veggie heaven! Will go back for more next time I crave Thai food !!
Eating out when working in Calgary can get expensive. That’s why I was so pleased to find this fine Thai restaurant. The flavours were wonderful and the price was even better. Service was just right. I can’t really complain about anything. We were here for supper and there was no difficulty getting a table. Perhaps it’s busier at lunch time. I’ll be back the next time I have to come down to Calgary.
Been here for lunch several times. Really good value for lunch. Price is reasonable, portion sizes are fair, and the food quality is good. Highly recommend the chicken red curry.
This is an excellent place for lunch or dinner. The food is really fresh and there are a lot of great options. I had the cashew stir fry with chicken and it was superb. We have been here a few times and it is consistently good – and the prices are great! livingtoat.com
Went there with bunch coworkers. It is a tiny little place in chinatown. The food is awesome, the stuffed chicken and curries are really good. Service was okay, they only have one or two people in front. We got our orders slowly.
Curries are amazing. Coconut rice is easily the best I have ever had. Very friendly. This place is a hidden gem for sure. The serving sizes are usually enough for two meals
I had only tried Thai once before the flood hit Calgary a few years ago and I tried it at Thai bistro. I didn’t realise how good it was till I then tried a few other Thai restaurants. Definitely the best I’ve tried. Especially love the pad Thai and the green curry. I’m not crazy about some of their delivery hours and the gap in between their lunch and dinner when you can’t order anything but overall service is excellent and food is really yummy.
