What can I say, I can’t resist the cute little pony on their food truck (see pic) … I mean the smell of the marinated meat of course. I ordered the Twisted Pig, which is composed of marinated pork souvlaki on a pita with tzatziki sauce, onion, tomato, cucumber, sweet pepper and feta cheese. The portion size is just right for me, the pita is soft and easy to chew. The marinated pork was done right as the texture was easy to bite with slight fat content in between. The marinated flavor wasn’t overpowering and you can still taste the meat, which is a bonus for me. The tzatziki and feta cheese adds a new layer of flavor and creaminess to the pita wrap. Not impressed.I got a chicken souvlaki. Although well cooked and presentation was nice, the flavors were exactly like the Epicure Greek seasoning.I wouldn’t have paid $10.50 for an Epicure dinner! I couldn’t even finish it which was the worst part.Sorry but no thanks.
