Got the fried chicken poutine. The chicken is tender and juicy but not crunchy at all but for me it’s not a big deal. The problem is the fries in the poutine. They’re green, like almost half of it. It wasn’t a big portion size to begin with, then you have to throw away half of the fries. With the 10 dollars prize tag, it’s a rip off.
FINALLLY i got the chance to try the waffle and chix food truck and let me say it was amazing. Chicken and waffles are just the perfect pair. Ive always heard great things about this food truck so when my friend and I saw that it was going to be at market collective we went straight there. The chicken was super tender and juicy, the waffle was tasty, but of course it wont be super crispy like at a restaurant. I would have liked a little more sweetness (maple) on it, but we fixed that by asking them for a side of maple syrup.If i ever see you guys on the road again, i will be back to try more items from the menu 🙂 lapetitteshar.com
LOVE this food truck!! Especially the southern fried chicken waffle! Make sure you get the waffle with bacon. It’s a heart attack must have. So delicious and flavours just exploding in your mouth. Foodgasm to the max!
This was great! Loved the waffle and coleslaw much more than the chicken itself but still would order it a second time. Could’ve done without the sauce and still very flavorful!
The food is great! The pairing tastes delicious and it was surprisingly easy to eat. The soft waffles & chicken pieces cut with ease. I’m coming back for sure. The only thing I didnt like is that there is a mandatory tip on top of your fee if you use mastercard or debit. Its only $1.50 at the least, but I would prefer to tip if I feel the service is good, not be forced to. Other than that it was awesome.
Brand new to calgary. I recently relocated here from halifax and have to say there’s nothing like this at home, the food is amazing and great value for your buck, the staff are inviting and fast serving out fresh hot delicious food quickly and efficiently can’t wait to go back #everydayimwaffelin
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!. The best part about this joke of a company is if you write a constructive review about this company it gets deleted. Don’t trust what you read about this company just avoid it like the plague.
