Only if you are desperate. Awful curry beef – completely tasteless. Rest was very mediocre. Service was fast though.Go to Super Chinese on Palliser instead.
A six dish takeout order ready in 10 min!Found out when I got it home, pink rare chicken in one dish, red rare beef with some folded over pieces still raw Chicken fried rice dried out and so hard to be dangerous to your teethVeggies huge chunks of zucchini, broccoli onion, carrots raw and too hard to cut without a knife, forget chopsticks Only good dish was the deep fried wontons
Not bad not great.. Thought we would try a new place other then our usual, won’t order here again. it was fast and good service but wasn’t great food.
We lived in the neighbourhood for the past 20 years. We have see it change many hands. Since the new owners have taken over. The service and the food is excellent!!!! We would recommend this place to everybody. We order at least twice a week from there.
Ordered take out & the food was tasteless. Had a hard time finding the meat in their meat dishes (beef chow mein, almond gai ding). Even the rice was poor. Only good item was the dry boneless ribs.
Been looking for some Chinese in Calgary for a while now. Finally found John Wong’s and my wife and I loved it! We will be driving 15 minutes past lots of other Chinese take-outs to enjoy John Wong’s.
Really gotten bad! I’ve eaten there five times in the last year. First two great, then three failed experiences. Go up the road to August moon
