Ok, so Ive been going on and off here for 10 yrs, I say on and off because thats exactly how I view their food !!!! The fish is pretty good here and the batters not bad at all. Now, its the chips I have a problem with. They are cut too small and that allows them to absorb too much oil when cooking, they need to be chunkier. You wouldnt get chips like this in a British chippie, we like our chips chunkier, fatter and cooked a golden brown, which actually involves cooking then twice. Its a simple process. One which hasnt been mastered at this chippie. I think the problem is, the kitchens too small to swing a cat in and the cooks often seem uncomfortably cramped whilst cooking. The price point is ok. The decor needs a serious face lift.
