Perks is my go to coffee and treat shop. I’ve tried many of the coffees, but love the red eye. Their soups and sandwiches are outstanding, and the fresh baked pastries are excellent. Add a great decor, and you have a place you can go with the family, wife, business meetings, or just sit alone. Ken and his team continue to do a great job, now at BOTH locations.
Great all around!. Being as myself and my coworkers work in close proximity to Perks, we enjoy their coffee and lunches frequently. I can say that I have never had a bad experience there. The best coffee, food that is always made fresh, and some of the best and most knowledgable staff and owners. A great addition to Spruce Grove!
I LOVE perks :). I have been to perks just a few times, and I doubt I will be frequenting any of the chain restaraunts again. The coffee and treats are delicious. Personable staff mean everything to me when it comes to where I give my business, and the girls who have served me there go above and beyond. They make helpful drink choice suggestions, and they serve the drinks in the large, lovely mugs. The price is also significantly lower compared to its competitors, for far superior products. Can’t say enough about this spot so far!!
Go to coffee Shop!. After being fed up with Starbucks making weak lattes and bad service, I found this little gem!I had a coconut iced coffee and my boyfriend had a zebra frappe, Amazing! They were both made fast and delicious. I have been telling everyone I know about this coffee shop and I will be only going here for my coffee, hot or cold. Try it, you will not be disappointed. And, the frappes blow Starbucks frappacino’s out of the water! They do not compare to Perks!!
Perks Coffee House is amazing from there friendly and fast service to there excellent soups and sandwiches which are made to your liking. They also have tons of drinks hot and cold and specialty baked goods and extra stuff that they make once in a while like pasta salad and homemade mini pies. I used to go to Tim Hortons daily but Perks has made me change. Go and try it you won’t be disappointed.
Finally!. A friend and I go to Perks at least twice a week after or before our regular walk on the trails. Honestly, we’ve never tasted better coffee. We have eaten a few items on the menu and have been satisfied. My friend and I complained about dry muffins and were given the offer to return our money. We declined as it was fine with coffee and just before we left the owner came over with three $5.00 Perks gift cards! The only drawback is that sometimes there are quite a few kids inside which is annoying when you’re trying to have a chat. But it’s a great non-chain place to go! (Can’t stand Starbucks)
Where to start? If you’re looking for a coffee house where the owners are actually informative about how they brew their coffee and care, this is the spot. It’s a warm environment that has a unique atmosphere many other places lack. The baked goods always taste fresh out of the oven, while the daily lunch combos with homemade soup keep me coming back. (Also, the Funky Monkey Frappe is a must for any newcomers)Summed up, I come for the combos, but I stay for the atmosphere and friendly staff (which are pretty easy on the eyes too) If you’re stuck every day in the drive through or line ups at the generic coffee shops, then you’re ludicrous. Positive you’ll be a regular after your first visit here.
