The best chinese food in the tri-area, but not the best chinese food ever. It’s worth ordering if you have a craving.. the only menu item I havent been crazy about is the peach shrimp. Otherwise, the ginger beef, cantonese chow mein, lemon chicken, and hot&sour soup are all family favourites.
Jan 2016, Visited Rays for the first time because Bings was closed. I had the half portion Wor Wonton, my husband had the full portion Hot and Sour soup as well as Almond Chicken. The soup was amazing! Very tasty and super fresh. My husband said the Almond Chicken was the best he had had in years. Will be returning for sure.
***WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE ****im a pretty laid back person and I hate to complain about things like this but I have never experienced anything like this before I called in for delivery when dinner arrived it was not the correct order .. When I called to let them know the lady on the phone argued and started raising her voice at me .I again tried to explained to her that this was not what I ordered and that all I would like is to have what I ordered she then Hung up the phone on me I could not believe the service .. I mean I payed for my meal including the delivery free and I did not receive what I had ordered and then when I called to simply deal with the situation she raised her voice at me and hung up the phone on me .. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced !!! I will never ever be ordering from this Establishment again !!!

What a joke. Called to place order, they only take cash at the door for delivery. They asked for my credit card info. I said I would go pick it up. The order for 3 things came to 50 dollars. I called back 3 minutes later to cancel my order because I decided it probably wouldn’t be worth the money and they told me my order was ready. I said well I want to cancel it I’m sorry. They told me to never call them again and hung up on me lol. GLADLY!!!
Tried to make us take someone’s leftovers. We had decided that Ray ‘s was the best Chinese food in Spruce, which isn’t saying a whole lot as it doesn’t rival some of the worst in Edmonton. Our last time to the restaurant we picked up a take out order that had my husband waiting over an hour. Turns out someone else had taken our order, and while my husband thought he was waiting for them to remake our order they actually had us wait 45 minutes for the guy with the incorrect order to bring our food back. When the guy finally arrives they tell him to give the food to my husband. What!? Not only was the food at least an hour old by then and not even remotely hot, who knows what this guy did to it. He obviously opened it to see it was the wrong order, he could have eaten part of it, touched it, spit in it, who knows, they didn’t even check. The staff was angry that my husband said he wanted them to make a new order, and disappeared with the bag for 5 minutes before bringing out food. I’m sure they just refired the old food. If they do this kind of gross stuff in front of us what are they doing when we can’t see? We will never ever return.
