I’ve had Sams three times now. Not necessarily because it’s the best in town but more so because of its proximity to my house (it’s literally a 1 minute drive).I’ll keep this review short. The Samzone (a calzone) is delicious. Way to much butter and saturated fat but hey its not healthy food you look for at a pizza place. I have had it twice with donair meat, pepperoni and jalapeos and have not been disappointed either time.As for the pizza, it’s nothing special (based on one time trying two pizzas). Definitely as good as a Pizza Hut or Pizza 73 but not what I would consider gourmet. French fries were sub par at best as well.Overall 8/10 based on the calzone only. Add the pizza and fries and the score drops to 6.5/10 , still perfectly acceptable but not mind blowing.
Horrible. Ordered take out.Greek salad was mostly romaine lettuce with a little bit of tomato and cucumber thrown on it.Didn’t even have olives on it.Definitely not a Greek Salad.Also ordered the baked spaghetti,which was tastless and soggy pasta.Probably the worst spaghetti I’ve ever eaten in my life.I had 3 bites and threw it away.I will never order from here again.I can’t compare it to other times as this was the first time I have ordered from here and definitely the last.
Donairs!. Donairs are great!! Sweet sauce is the best in town!
Best pizza in the grove. I tried everything at sam’s and it was amazing, there pices are reasonable and they put more toppings and cheese on there pizza than other 2 for 1 places. If you wanna try real pizza you should call them.
Calzone heaven. I just experienced my first Donair Calzone and OMW it was delicious, will definitely be ordering from here again 🙂
I placed an order at 4:30pm specifying we would pick up at 6:15pm. Judging by how COLD the pizza was when we got it home at 6:20, they made it when we called. Don’t assume common sense when ordering from this restaurant.
