We eat here often and have had great experiences. Food is great and good portion sizes. Staff is friendly. Fries and dill dip are addicting as well as the sirloin salad!

Please don’t get the steak sandwich it’s awful … The bread is generic and soggy by the time it reaches you. The mash potatoes I chose as one side … Very over whipped like eating glue… And the salad as my other side was old and brown. The chicken rice bowl is probably the only good menu item… I’ve had that numerous times. Also please hire new waitresses that aren’t totally looking like they hate their jobs
Breakfast. Today I had a chance to visit State and Main Spruce Grove for breakfast. I ordered the Morning Glory (eggs, sausage, and bacon etc). Four bites and I asked for the bill. Burnt bacon, over done eggs, tasteless sausage, and deep fried frozen hash browns. Server made no effort to comp my meal. The above is especially disturbing since I was literally the only patron in the restaurant…I did call the manager after I left and was offered a gift card but I declined since I have no intentions of returning. I writing this review from MacDoalds as I’m eating a Big Mac…Very disappointing State and Main SG.
Do not go here unless you want McDonald’s quality food. Just went this morning for brunch and this place is definately overpriced. I was charged a dollar for asking for tomato on a burger. The food was poorly cooked and my server never bothered coming to my table from the time I ordered to the time I stopped her for the bill.I will never again put my money in this establishment. They clearly have no clue how to run an operation. Save yourself disappointment and go somewhere else. Craig Connors
Disappointed. Firstly they do not serve Canadian Beer. Food is badly over priced. The waiters look like they came from a freak show, tattoos, pierced noses ears. Never going back.
Went there sometime in the middle of last week with a couple of friends. I have been there a few times before but except this time we sat on the patio as it was a nice day out. We all ordered iced tea and shared a calamari between the four of us. The drinks came out very quickly with the calamari following not long after. The calamari is the best I’ve ever had and the red pepper aoli is the most amazing sauce I’ve had, even better than sawmill sesame sauce! I will have to look into if they sell the red pepper aoli in bottles. About 10-15 minutes after we finished the calamari our food was delivered. I cannot recall what my friends ordered but I had the Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries and caeser salad for sides. The side causer was very good with a generous helping of fresh bacon bits served in a neat little glass bowl. The sweet potato fries were also quite good and I am quite the lover of sweet potato fries. I got bacon ketchup with mine and it was good but not really my thing. So I asked the server If I could have the red pepper sauce from the calamari. She brought it and it paired very well with the fries. Finally the Reuben I was very impressed with not only because of the massive flavours perfectly aligned from the sliced beef and sauerkraut. But also by the sheer size of it. I haven’t had a bigger Reuben or a better tasting one at any restaurant and it is my go to sandwich. I finished every last bit of my meal and wanted to order the homemade milk and cookies for dessert as i have heard great things about it, but was too full from the massive portion sizing! So we got the bill and on it I had the Reuben for $15 sweet potato fries extra $2.50 pop like $4 and 1/4 calamari only $2.50 with my tip of over 20% the bill still somehow came out under $30! Very cheap pricing for amazing food. Officially my favorite restaurant in the stony/spruce area. Oh and the jars like glasses you get drinks in are a nice touch
