Gross. Visited this restaurant for the first time today. First off, let me say I love Mexican food and have always had a great experience at the St.Albert Taco Time location. I brought my young son here today to get 2 tacos, 1 hard and 1 soft, a side order of tater tots and an orange juice. The taco beef was luke warm. Lettuce had brown leaves in it. The tater tots must be completely cooked and then when a customer orders they are dropped in the fryer for 15 seconds to get hot. The young lady working here was polite enough I guess, but as soon as she served us she went off to the back room and we did not see her again (we were the only 2 people in the restaurant, maybe for a good reason?).Anyway, I just moved out to Spruce Grove and I hoped to have a semi healthy fast food spot to bring my son every now and then. Taco Time will not be it.Evan
Quick, Cheap, Decent, Fresh – No problems I can see.. Take out – deluxe Chicken & Beef Burritos (1 each)Order was ready in about 3 minutes, wrapping was tight, ingredients were fresh, seasoning was good. For under $10 probably the best compromise between fast, cheap, and healthy. Not sure if other menu items or deep fried sides are the problem here – but what I ordered was very nice!
This establishment used to be amazing, it has been slowly sliding and sliding downhill. I used to refer this restaurant. But now I advise people not to go. The portions are way smaller, more expensive, and care is no longer taken in preparation. The care is no longer in the customer. I have no clue where it went, but it’s not where it used to/should be.
Used to be good. Went downhill! Probably the laziest, most apathetic person serving. Naughty, naughty. Not very clean. Food? Still decent
This Taco Time is a Taco Time Cantina, you can get a beer or cooler with your burritto. Food is made fresh, tomatoes are whole when they enter the restaurant. Owner is on-site most days, working hard. And desserts are affordable!
Good, easy chow. Way better than Taco Bell in the Grove.
