Went to the original Leduc location, ensuring we had the best experience for our initial visit. I shared with the owner Kass, who was working the line, that my Daughter who was accompanying me, would be enjoying her first Donair ever.Of course, we had to split The Sasquatch…a massive gut-splitting wrap of goodness.I learned the meat is custom made to Kass’ requirements, it is a finer grind than what I’m used to, which is very enjoyable, along with a touch of heat. Sweet sauce is on par with the best that I’ve tried, and the side that came with super-sized Donair was emptied.Took us about 30 minutes to get through the halved donair, along with a side of fries and 2 sodas worth under $18.Certainly the best experience I’ve had ordering/eating a Donair, a portion of that experience was the chat I had with Kass, a top-shelf Owner/Operator.Will be trying the Bluequill location next, once my next urge for a Meat Injection happens to come along.

Grabbed a Big Bite donair ($8.55) and a side of deep fried mushrooms ($5). The donair meat was cut fresh off the rotisserie and placed on the flat top for further warming/cooking while it also simultaneously steamed the pita covering it. The meat was piled high on the Big Bite and then covered in loads of sweet sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion and black olives. The size of the Big Bite is definitely worth the price and the quality was top notch. The meat was plentiful, sliced evenly and thinly. The veggies were fresh and the onions were red onions, mixed with some herb seasoning which was a nice change from just the regular white onion (which you could get if you specified) – the red onion added a nice bit of sweetness with each bite. The sweet sauce was awesome and exactly what I hope for when ordering a donair from somewhere new. Ask for extra extra sauce, because when I was ordering they generously sauced the donair twice and when I was eating it I still felt I needed more – it’s just that good! The deep fried mushrooms were good but I felt the portion was a bit small for the price. Overall I am glad I tried this place and will definitely be stopping by whenever I have a chance. Dare I say it… This may have been the best donair I have ever had.

Most amazing donair EVER and the owner that is there is wonderful. He provided me with their Edmonton address on a separate card as well. Much better than any other place I’ve been to around Leduc and Edmonton. Friendly and caring people deserve recognition and this place gets first place for that. Thanks for the lovely service and food .

Really friendly staff and delicious food. I made a mistake when ordering and the guy working brought me extra food and didn’t charge me. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Best Wrap Ever. I used to live in Leduc. Moved back to Ontario. The only thing I miss other than the long cold winter is a Basha half chicken half beef with garlic and sweet sauce. That is all.

Friendly service at new Edmonton south side restaurant. I’ve ordered from here several times and staff have always greeted me with a smile. The menu is fairly large for a donair shop and is delicious. My wife did mention though that the tomatoes are cut too big and would be better if they were diced instead. There are no shortage of donair shops in the city, but at Basha I actually feel like an appreciated customer.
