I absolutely love the gf options available at Kosmos, and my family loves that all the basics are present on the menu and are yummy. A great friendly family restaurant for lunch or dinner. Thanks Kosmos for taking care of the gf crowd so well!
I stopped here on the way out of Edmonton as I was told the food was good. We ordered the perogies as an appetizer and they were decent. Our server Shaniece was friendly and polite. We sat in the lounge. We ordered a Greek pizza with pepperoni added and it was pretty good. Not the best I have had and I wouldn’t say worth going out of your way for but decent.
Terrible absolutely degrading white trash at its best !! I never in all my life have I ever had to ask a waitress to stop complaining about me to the bar, cause I could hear every demoralising and degrading comment she boisterously yelled to her bat tender !! I called her out on her childish behaviour and told her we are paying customers and her attitude is extremely unprofessional! !! We left before our drinks hit the table
I’ve been to Kosmos at least a dozen times and every time the food was good and reasonable priced.
A pass but not by much. Mixed reviews are always the headrest, here is a good and bad list.Good: The selection was very bigThe spagetti was enjoyed by the kids – it’s hard to screw up spagetti and meat sause. The portions are really big The service was goodBad:The butter chicken is not. It had pineapple and other things in it that made it something else, a fruity curry chicken perhaps. Tasted odd. Not butter chicken.The panzeotti pizza option for the pizza made it really heavy. We took 2/3 home.There was an odd smell reminiscent of johny cake when we walked in. And overall the food was blandConclusion:A forgettable experience. I don’t care to go back, but will probably have to.
Mediocre at best. I’ve never really had bad food at Kosmos, but it’s not amazing either. It’s mediocre at best, which is why I’m disappointed they’re catering for the graduation banquet this year. The menu for that is absolutely terrible- salads that all contain nuts. Nuts are the most common allergy! Paying 46$ is ridiculously overpriced for meatballs, Alfredo and other food that doesn’t go together. The reason we’re not going is because I have a family member who can’t even smell nuts without having a reaction. Whatever happened to a plain, garden salad? Disappointing. I could go to the Keg and get whatever I wanted for around the same price, maybe even cheaper. Some of the younger servers aren’t the most professional, either. I called at 8 one night to order pizza and I heard the girls in the background asking who would call here at 8. Very unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend.
Response to my last review. I most certainly did not receive 50% off my bill as stated in the reply from the manager. We had $50.00 in gift certificates which we redeemed so that the bill was around $50 rather that the $100 that it would have cost had we not had the certificates. I am quite insulted at the suggestion that my bill was discounted by 50% when in fact additional charges were added over and above the cost of the advertised specials. I am glad that the owners had dinner together for the first time in 20 years however if that statement was meant to make me feel guilty for my review then all the more reason for me to find another place to dine!!15 Feb, 2014Go early before they run out of food!!. I don’t usually bother to review restaurants but after last night I just had to!! My husband and I went for a Valentines day dinner at 7:00. When we arrived we were informed that they had run out of food for their advertised specials. I asked if they could make a substitution and was told no, we could just order off the menu. Finally the waitress came back and said they would make a substitution so that we could have some of the advertised seafood that they had not run out of. The food was OK when it arrived but they charged us $3.00 each extra for our meals. The waitress did her best but was dealing with a lot of complaining customers so I felt bad for her. Needless to say this was not a special evening and I won’t be returning here. I like to support local businesses but next time we will drive into the city for dinner!
