So disappointed. There was such LITTLE selection of food for $21 for the brunch buffet.. The eggs benedict was okay but everything else was bland or way too salty. Even the apple pie was extremely disappointing and still frozen. Would never waste my money coming back here again.
The food is good that is what keeps sucking me in, as for service twice now my table has been taken as I went to bathroom. Staff will do nothing. Second time I left jacket and keys on table as I went pee. Still my table stolen and new people that overcome my table threw my stuff everywhere. Thank you staff for apprehending my seat. Not.. They will not.. I will not eat or refer anyone there again as for there POOR Customer service and integrity.
Good $20 buffet but we were poorly over-served. We went as a group on a buffet night with kids. We called ahead to request a table but they didn’t seem to have our info when we got there. We were over-served upon being seated (multiple people trying to take drink orders before we even sat down/ interrupting us). Then servers came back multiple times but we ended up going with the buffet. Two people got $12 salad buffet and were brought the wrong bill after confirming twice. We were charged the large group (8+people) automatic 16% tip and we were only 6 paying people, a baby and a 1.5 year old. The only staff member we were happy with was the bus boy. I hope he gets tipped out.
Horrible service. The food was quite good; we had the Saturday rib buffet and were not disappointed. The service however, was very disappointing. We were 7 people; the 4 adults chose the buffet which included desserts, and the kids ordered from the menu. I kindly asked the waitress if the 3 kids could chose a cupcake from the buffet instead of the adults having a dessert and they said no; that if the kids wanted a cupcake, it would be $5.75 each!!! So the 3 of 4 adults decided to go ahead and get dessert (cheesecake, squares…didn’t touch the precious cupcakes) and our kids had a few bites of ours (honestly they were pretty full anyways). After we had to go find the waitress so we could pay our bill (again waiting about 10 minutes), the manager(?) approached us and asked if they could charge us for dessert since the kids had some… Seriously???? I have never written a bad review before but we were so insulted that I had to.
My wife heard that the food was good at O’Brians was pretty good So my family decided to give it a try.we were pleasantly surprised the food very good amd the service was excellent ! The atmosphere comfortable A must !
Stick with what they know. This is really one of the best restaurants in Leduc. But they do have their weaknesses. The steak was excellent and my wife’s pork was spot of. Service was above expectations too. So what did they miss? the tempura batter on my vegetables. It was more like a bread batter or bear batter for shrimp. Defiantly not tempura. It also made the veg heavy and oily. Too bad really because they do such good food usually. Their roast beast at lunch is always great. So they know good western cooking. And not Japanese. surprised? Well not really. Lesson here is if they can’t get it right they should not put it on the menu. Oops. So get the meat and potato. That they make as well or better then I can.
Never had a bad meal.. I regularly go to O’Brian’s because there is not much choice in Leduc. Standard fare. Service is rock solid and atmoshere is comfortable. If you are into buffets (not my choice but hey?) go on a Friday or Saturday night for the beef ribs. Fall off the bone and smothered in sauce. Sickeningly good but you can only eat them once every six months. I could feel my arteries hardening as I ate. The mashed potatoes are real and they even have beets and herring on the salad bar. How down home is that? Comfort food to the max.
