Not a huge fan of food trucks as I’ve found they generally equate to higher cost for lesser portion and unfortunately (in my experience) nothing special taste wise. With that said, I had to opportunity to try The Hop the other day. The highlights would be that you can tell they make their food fresh to order based on how long the prep takes, and their fries are clearly house cut/made and it really shows in the quality. The fries were meaty and perfectly crispy – seasoned decently although a shake of the seasoning salt provided didn’t hurt them at all either. Their burgers had potential but unfortunately didn’t do it for me. Although the beef was good, the patties weren’t big enough and they were also under seasoned. The hot dogs were really underwhelming. Lastly I wasn’t a huge fan of the no name ketchup they use.

Their burgers are absolutely delicious, great flavor, not greasy and fresh ingredients. Great fries. LOVE THIS PLACE. I am introducing my hubby and daughter today…I am sure they will enjoy it as much as I do!

Best burgers in town period.. I’ve been twice and it is fantastic. Burgers and fries were both delicious! It’s a little pricy and I didn’t love my strawberry milkshake (but I will try out again just to make sure I didn’t just have an off day.).
