I have not been here for close to 10 years. Today I went cause I had a hankering for Indian cuisine and on the north side it’s far and few between. That being said I ordered the paneer pakora, veggie Samosa and goat curry. The paneer pakora I have not seen on another menu before so I enjoyed trying something new. The Samosa had a chick pea salad on top…it was tasty but made for soggy samosa. All in all it met the spot but was a bit expensive for what u received.
Lies to Customers. Sign in window advertised a takeout for $9.99. There were about six items listed, but when I asked for them, they refused to give me all the items and kept making excuses and lying to me, saying they gave the same takeout every day. I was hungry and didn’t have time to argue with them, but I’ll never go back and I’ll tell everyone my story. Agree with the guy who said their butter chicken was watery. Also too many bones and fat in the lamb curry and the portions were small. They give you too much of the cheap stuff like rice. INSTEAD, for Indian food during the week, I’d recommend Y Not in the food court of Scotia Place. For an Indian buffet, I’d recommend Daawat on Whyte Ave.
