Food here is alright. There’s better places to go for pho, rice dishes or vermicelli bowls. Service is average and portion is not a big. Also a bit on the expensive side.
So unfortunately had the worst bowl of soup in my life. The broth was revolting. The appies and bun is good. But the broth has gone down hill.
Their broth taste like tap water and their meats are stale… So disgusting I didn’t even finish my bowl. Their fried rice is awesome though
Worst Service Ever!!!. We dined there tonight and was sorrily disappointed by the service and the lack there of. First when we arrived there was what we thought was 2 tables of customers. One of the tables ended up being the servers who were sitting there talking about everything including the customers. They sat us near them and brought us waters. We looked over the menu and ordered our apetizers and then eventually ordered our entres. From that point on we only ever saw our waitress when she brought us food. I never got a refill for my water and the waitress never stuck around long enough to be asked for a refill. I actually had wanted to purchase a drink but didn’t because of the rudeness. We liked the food and thought it was of good quality but will never go there ever again as we do not want to be ignored so much again in my life. When we finished our meal we waiting patiently for our bill and multiple times did the waitress walk by and even looked at me as i stared at her almost willing her to bring us the cheque but she simply walked into the kitchen and came out with a pop (which i really could have used at that point since i was very thirsty). I did not leave a tip as i felt they did not give service warranting anything more than a discount on our meal for shoddy service. Unless you wish to be avoided and get decent food then i wouldn’t even consider ordering takeout cause who knows if they will actually give the order to the kitchen.
Item 38. Lemongrass Grilled Chicken with Vermicelli Noodles is my favourite with the vegetarian imperial spring rolls. Since I am home most weekends by myself & cooking for 1 just is not going to happen. Nothing tastes better than having item 38 with a glass of white wine. They are always friendly, quick and the portions satisfying. While the interior of the restaurant is not very attractive the quality of food and services makes up for it. Recently I have been ordering to pick up & it tastes just as good watching a movie. Maybe better.
Have gone numerous times with people from work at lunch. We had always had very prompt service we get out water seconds after sitting down. Salad rolls are fantastic. Typical noodle dishes, get quite a bit of food for a good price.
