It’s been at least 7 years since I have eaten at a Swiss Chalet. The last time I went was when they were located on 97 street and 132 ave. That location is now closed.Went to this location on May 14th, 2017. The family and I intended to go to Earls for mothers day but last minute change as some wanted ribs…so Swiss Chalet was where we ended up going. Got there before the dinner rush as the place got full pretty fast after 530pm. As we got there, we were greeted and seated right away and within minutes our server asked what we liked to drink. Most of us went with water and iced tea. Our drinks came out pretty fast. If you have ever been to BP’s and ordered a soda or water, it comes in that typical tall BP’s glass. That’s what was shown on the menu but when the drinks came out the glass size was totally smaller, like a kids size drink glass. It was refillable but our table got refilled with drinks once as our server was so busy. Price and portions were good, food tasted decent, service a bit slow but she was friendly, restaurant was nice and clean, and overall atmosphere was pleasant. I have to admit, the ribs here is better than Tony Romas. I would definitely be back for some good cheap eat meals.

I hadn’t received service like this ever, even at fancier restaurants. She made sure all of our requests were met, and she was running her butt off! She was extremely friendly, and efficient. Quite an asset to your team.
Worst chicken ever. Orderer online but still waited for half an hour..chicken was cold and dry..second and last time I go there
No Complaints. We frequently go to this location on Friday nights. We have never had a bad meal there. The food is always fresh and really hot. Service is quick and efficient. Not fine dining, just good solid everyday food at reasonable prices.
I never do this but….. Look, I work in a restaurant. I know its a tough business. This place tho could care less about you and the business they are running. Me and my gf have been about a dozen times. It gets worse each time but we go back cause its close. We give them the benefit of the doubt. Always disappointed. We are done. We have sat and waited for a table at times and honestly have seen people walk in, look around, stand and wait and then leave cause no one is there to seat them. No host or hostess ever! I couldn’t even imagine the amount of money they are losing just from that one thing alone. I love the chicken and fries there but honestly will drive a bit further to get better service and the food i would expect from this franchise. It should be shut down for making a mockery of the name it exploits. Do not go! You would have a way better time spending 30 dollars to get kicked in the nuts by baymax from the movie super hero 6.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I ordered a chicken dinner via delivery. It came and the potatoes were ice cold and the chicken was burnt. I called back the store and the manager suggested if I came to the restaurant the food would be hot. That doesn’t explain the burnt chicken. After some time he told me to call again and I would receive my meal. About a week later I phoned and was told I could only get this replacement during no busy hours. I then was told I would only get the chicken quarter…he later agreed to the meal. Then it arrived and the guy asks me for 4 dollars for delivery..are you kidding me..I paid delivery on the original for garbage. I paid it anyway..opened the carton and it was a tiny chicken leg with a coleslaw half full and a bun..no butter..not napkins..Never again.
