Very disappointed. I ordered takeout from this location and when I got home and opened the container I was immediately taken aback with the odor. I ordered the salmon lovers combo and threw all of it out as the salmon was sticky/ slimy and most definitely not fresh. I called the restaurant to let them know that they were serving poor quality food, they said they would look into it. But I will not be eating there again.
Paper thin sushi. While I generally like Tokyo Express restaurants, This one is bad. I’ve been coming here on and off for years and it seems that the size of the meals just keep getting skimpier every time.Last time I was in the fish was sliced so paper thin that I saw the rice under it.Never again.
I finally decided to review this place after my 3rd time there, which was today. Good, consistent, and better than most of the other locations. I don’t eat sushi very often, so I don’t have much to compare to, but I am ok with this location.
Good sushi. Had the dragon’s eye roll and it was yummy&crispymmm.had the dynamite roll and it was the bombmmm.had some combo it was freshmmm.the wasabi wasn’t.
Service is good. Food good. Tastes better than the 82ave location. Have never had an issue there.
I don’t know what it is about this location, but it’s not very good. I generally like Tokyo express but we avoid this one. The meat is not very appetizing and their rice is mushy. Plus this place seems to be lacking in staff.
