A great join for burgers & fries and Clive sauce is off the chain! Its like that Good Burger movie when Ed makes the secret sauce…. well its here at Clive Burger.Staff are verry kind and cheerful in this open concept burger joint. The ambiance itself is bright and energetic and very well lit with booths and assorted seating!
Their burgers and shakes are delicious! Staff are usually very friendly, but it does take a bit of time before I actually get my food. The prices are also a bit high, but overall, I really enjoy this place and do visit from time to time.
I really like the burgers at Clive but I can’t justify eating here because of the price. The burgers are on the small side and the patties are quite thin, so even if you get a double (which is around $10 not including a side) you’ll probably still be hungry. The other thing I don’t like is how the only options for cheese are processed cheese slices, which they charge extra for. That cheese is not even close to being worth a dollar, I wouldn’t even eat it if it were free. Great customer service and nice interior but they need to be more realistic about what they’re charging.
Ya, good ole Clive, thin dry burger patties, ordered onions for extra dollar weren’t to many, give it a 5.5 out of 10 .. barely pass because it was warm throughout and their bun wasn’t hugePoutine, for Westerner is OK, but would make a French man cry
Good quality and tasty, with a pricey tag. I ordered a double hamburger ($10), and got most of the free toppings. The bun is fantastic, soft and pillowy, and you can tell the meat is of good quality. I really enjoyed the Clive sauce which is a spicy mayo type.
Maybe the best burger in town. They have very tasty home made Clive sauce for burger and French fries dip!!! But this time, their French fries disappointed me, the first bag of French fries they served was not well done in the center and not crispy at all. I requested to change, the second bag was well done but still not crispy at all. Whats going on? I remember they had good French fries 7 or 8 months ago.
Honestly, there is nothing cuter than the little cartoon hamburgers, fries, hotdogs, etc. adorning the walls of this local burger joint. They offer single ($7), double ($10), or triple ($13) hamburgers with your choice of the usual toppings. For $1-2 more you can add a fried egg, bacon, fried mushroom, or fried onion. I got a single with cheese which was the perfect size for me. Beef was well seasoned and juicy. Bun was yummy. I also got a poutine. I didn’t like it. The fries were drowning in a bath of gravy and were rather soggy as a result. I noticed several people grabbing poutine from next door at The Big Cheese and then grabbing a burger at Clive lol. Maybe that’s the way to go. Nevertheless, I will come back for the burgers, and I would like to try their smokies too!
