Absolutely fantastic! I have lived in Calgary all my life and I have noticed this place hundreds of times but never gone in.. I dont know what took me so long! The food is incredible! I highly recommend 🙂
First time at Fleur de Sel and loved it the food, ambiance and service. Definitely reminds you a real French bistro. Steak au poivre us to die for. Would definitely recommend going on a week day as it is much quieter. Our server (maybe the owner?) was wonderful and very attentive. Might not look like much from the outside, but feels like a trip to Paris inside. Absolument dlicieux et je le recommende!
My wife and I love this place. A taste of French culture. The owner seems really nice and defiantly fits the place. A nice place to take your loved one. Try going on a week day for its a tiny place and very busy.
This place is very tiny and very french. Definitely reminded me of a little bistro in Paris. The service is wonderful and they seem to have a lot of regulars. There was a little birthday celebration with disco lights, balloons and music. The food is very expensive and I didn’t love all of it. The mussels were great and so was the steak. The tuna and ratatouille were not to my liking. We were stuffed so we didn’t try any dessert. I say I like this place because the service was wonderful and the ambiance was great however I think it is too pricey and with so many wonderful places in Calgary with great food I don’t know how soon I’d go back.
Pricey, but amazing. I was there with my partner and we ordered the scallops to start and share, he got the ostrich, I got the duck, we got a bottle of their Mel Soleil Chardonnay and shared the flambe for dessert. So overall, a pretty large meal for $250. We went a little crazy. But the food and wine was all AMAZING, the service was lovely, and their motto is, they close when the last guests leave, which happened to be us on thanksgiving, so we left a handsome tip for the waiter (who was very good to us). At night, the atmosphere is quaint and intimate.I think what is on the menu also, you can have a grand dinner, or you can have a much more affordable one. you can buy a $19 entree versus a $39 one.
Horrible !!. Never recommend this restaurant to anyone . Very small place and unbelievably expensive for the little amount of food they give you.my husband and I left there hungry after spending more than $100.
