Overpriced for what you get, and I went in and was the only customer. I thought it was perfect cause I was in a rush. Sadly, buddy working decided it’d be better to answer his texts and fiddle w his tunes before starting on my food… For what you get and the high prices, better to go to Mint a block away for Viet. At least you can appreciate that it’s a mom and pop shop and they legitimately care about customer service. 2 Salad rolls for $8 – seriously.
The restaurant is beautiful and in a terrific location. They’ve created an elegant and relaxing space. Unfortunately the food was the worst I’ve ever had. I love Vietnamese, but everything about this was extremely poor quality – and very high in price. Oddly textured, sticky vermicelli. Sate beef that was one solid chunk and was incredibly rubbery and tasteless. The texture of the entire dish was poor, and it tastes terrible. The spring rolls were greasy and devoid of taste. Even the peanut sauce tasted odd.
