All Starbucks I visit have consistent great coffee and food. Friendly staff.Compared to:Was at a few good earths and people were all cranky and rude and bugging everyone to leave before closing -why? Must be something they are not happy about- maybe they dont like the company and the people! Their coffee is nothing to write about and muffins have gone from good 15 years ago to bad – even Tims are much better
It’s nicer and more spacious now that the decor has undergone significant renovations here. When I lived in the neighbourhood this would be my go-to marking or working spot. The patio up top is really nice when it’s warm and there’s no breeze, and often one can see many Mission area regulars here. Drinks are basic Starbucks. Starbucks is, well… Starbucks.You probably already know about their food/drinks so I’ll focus on this specific location.The patio on the rooftop is really cool and the staff is, for the most part, super friendly.However, team members seem to be changing relatively frequently… over the past couple of months, it’s not been rare to wait quite a bit (over 10 minutes) when the place wasn’t crowded.They will likely (hopefully!) fix this over time. foodieinyyc.com
Good location, never overcrowded. Staff quite eager to make a connection and once they have your name, that’s it, you can no longer go incognito at this place. You come in and they yell out your name and say hello. The newbies still insist on asking and writing it down, eagerly. So eager. But nice. There’s almost always parking if you happen to drive over. And if you’re looking for a nice patio to sip on non alcoholic drinks and get your vitamin d absorption going, then the upstairs patio is your place.
Starbucks mission. Everytime I go into the Starbucks in mission I always leav empty handed.. I love the breakfast spainch wrap after seeing it on display I thought perfect they have it only to be disappointed when I get to the til and they say sorry we don’t have it. This has happend about 3 times in the past month. Went in one more time not even for the wrap but for a chai latte only to be told once again they don’t have chai lattes anymore cause they’re switching brands!! Starbucks 4th St & 23rd Avenue SW Calgary in Mission. Sorry Starbucks guys, colossal mistake — close and renovate in August, finish the new store interior and connection to the best roof deck in Calgary a little later than you thought and get a huge dump of the worst early snow in Calgary history to celebrate the job well done and the doors open again. from a Gold card holder with Starbucks and fan of this location and staff.
