Good Pub Grub at Great Prices. Let’s be clear, this is a dated, hole in the wall pub not a trendy lounge. It could certainly use some renos however you can not beat the prices for the quality of food. They have full, tasty lunch specials for $8.00. You can’t even get a #2 at Mc Donalds for that price. Their daily drink specials are worth trying out too. The servers aren’t 20-year old knock-outs in tight skirts but they are friendly and efficient. That’s all I can ask for from a neighbourhood pub. If you live in the area, stop in and you’ll probably go back.

At 740 I approached a waitress to get some service, at 8 my beer arrived. They offered no apologies and when I paid my tab they didn’t comp even one beer. I recommend that you not waste your time or money at the place. Worst neighbourhood pub I’ve been to, on the upside the food was decent

Friendly Pub !!. Sense Iv lived in Calgary I have been searching for a comfortable bar with an atmosphere that was reminiscent of my favourite bar back home.Schooners Pub is one of the first bars I started going to. We went on a Saturday at 2 when the live music starts. Fell in love with this place.Amazing bar! not your average place. Friendly Service slow down when its really busy and damn does it get busy. Love this place I will always go back.
Great location – poor service. I’ve been going to schooners for the last 10 years as it was my only neighborhood pub. The service used to be great (Tish) but since she left the service seems to always get worse. The waitresses and bartender are stunned and there really isn’t much to look at either if you know what I mean fellas… The food and beer is good though if you can put up with the service.
Walking back in time. Boy does this place need to be updated! Its like walking back into the 70’s. Small Flat screen tv’s ,Kind of Biker bar meets diner, casino feel. The staff were a little on the rough side, The food was ok . Frozen food cooked or fried up. Great Location ! I think they could make this place really nice but it would need to be renovated ,Smaller menu with Fresh food! and lose the slot machines! Maybe I just stick to the Fergus and Bix.
Awesome place to hang out and have a beer and some wings (it’s wings night 4 nights a week). There are usually specials during Stamps and Flames games. Usually not very busy, so you can have a conversation. Servers have been good for the last 5 or so years I’ve been frequenting this establishment. Food is standard pub fare, portions are quite large, but don’t be expecting any life changing culinary experiences. There are quite a few TVs and sports are always on. All in all, a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
