This place is a little hidden gem, nestled in a golf course, tucked away in a residential neighborhood. There is a very comfortable, laid-back vibe even with the unfortunate inclusion of children. The service is faultless; prompt, polite and genuine. The food itself is very well done with an evident attention to detail that often escapes pubs serving standard pub fare. The fries in particular are a treat; crispy, well-seasoned, and piping-hot. This honest and friendly pub is as close as you can get to perfect… if only they didn’t allow children.

Worst food in cochrane. Been here a few times and the last couple of months it went downhill. Food takes forever and worst service ever. Dont waste money in this place. Mary browns has a better food than this overpriced pub.
Solid meals. I’ve been here about 20 times and have had good food on most of these occasions. Wing night is a great deal and the wings are good. Stuffed yorkies are top notch. Gluten free pizza is very very good. They also have a large gluten free menu that my wife loves. They make a couple nice burgers and also have 4 Irish beers available. They have a really nice patio in the summertime and the staff is all very nice. Pool tables and shuffleboard also. Overall its a solid bar for family’s with small children and/or celiac family’s.
Terrible food. My daughter and I went to Killarneys for an early afternoon appie. We were the only people in the Pub. We ordered the Rib Platter, its was horrible!!! After waiting for almost 45 minutes our platter arrived, it was HORRIBLE, I would not feed it to my dog. The ribs tasted freezer burned and they were raw inside. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!! I have been to this pub two times now, the first time again the food was disgusting. I ordered the Chicken and Leek Boxty, the crust of the Boxty was disgusting, it was so thick It over powered the food underneath. All I could think both times on my visit to this restaurant was I felt so bad for the staff serving this disgusting food and where the heck was management??? I will never go back and I will ensure everyone I know should not order food from your restaurant.
Dry ribs…best in town…don’t think so!!. I was in to Killarny’s this evening to enjoy some ribs and beverages. The ribs (suppose to be the best in town) so says the menu!! They were the worst I have ever had hands down. Menu states they are marinated by special recipe from chef…they were nothing more than bones with a tiny bit of pork on them. Our waitress Emily asked me how the ribs were and I told her they weren’t that good, she was very professional saying she would be happy to remove them from my bill and bring me something else. Thank you Emily, you were the only thing good about Killarny’s. Having worked Golf Courses around Alberta I was appauled at.the trash and debris that surrounded the lower part of the cart storage area. It was a distraction from a lovely view from the restaurant patio.
Great atmosphere, lots of beers on tap, food was great , huge Yorkshire puddings and home made too. Dessert was really good and gluten free! For sure will go back
