This is a new Vietnamese restaurant to Cochrane . My husband and I went in today to order take out and were greeted by the friendly staff. My first thought was wow This place smells clean and good!The server brought us water as we looked over their menu. We ordered Pho, Vermicelli bowl, chicken wings and wontons. The broth for the Pho was Awesome! Really pleased with it. Great vermicelli bowl. The chicken wings were awesome! Hot , nice size and decent price ! The wontons were great as well. Yummy yummy ! Go try!
I tried this place when it first opened and again maybe acouple months later and it was ok. I went again today and got the special vermacelli bowl they had and im not sure what they did but they nailed it. I will have to go again and try the soup next time but judging by how good that bowl was i think it will be great. As far as the vermacelli bowls go this place is deffinately the best vietnamese in cochrane and also gives the best ones in calgary a run for there money and i should know because i have eaten at pretty much all of the well known ones.
Just tried for a quick lunch. Absolutely not worth the bowl it’s on. Not one of the 3 of us could get pass the ice cold chicken and shrimp atop our vermicelli. There was no taste everything including the chili sauce was watered down. The steamed veggies my daughter had where ice cold and the chicken she had along with ours was rubbery and cold. Management then told us that’s how authentic Vietnamese is supposed to be. So unless you like no contrast in your vermicelli bowl I do not recommend this place.
