One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the Calgary area. Ive eaten everywhere at all the other best places, this place is legitimate. Try the Curry Beef Soup with Vermicelli (30B) or Stir Fried Curry Beef with Lemongrass Sate on Vermicelli (37C), although you cant go wrong with anything on the menu.

We go regularly from Calgary to Cochrane for Tony’s curry soup. It’s ALWAYS delicious. Try the homemade wontons too. Lemongrass noodles are also yummy. We like to support this great family business.

Best Viet Food Around. We go to Pho Anh Huyen II Vietnamese Noodle House at least twice a month, they have excellent food, and the best spring rolls i have ever had, there is a review below saying the spring rolls were not good, not sure what happened there but i have never had bad spring rolls, and we order them as part of the rice vermicelli and get a side order of spring rolls every time, yes they are deep fried, but they are delicious! we get 33D on the menu, love this place!

Not quite sure what to write, I’m new to this and don’t want to hurt anyone. Anyways my husband and I just left there, the service was fast and friendly, but the spring rolls tasted like they were fried in month old oil. All we could taste was the wrapper not the filling, kinda like gross nachos. So those get a thumbs down. The soup #9 was not sate by any means. It kinda tasted like it was made with dirty water and msg. I wanted to like this place as cochrane needs some good Vietnamese but I don’t think we will be back.

I’ve been coming here for years. Tony is great, food is great, and the service is great. Best Vietnamese coffee bar none. Serving size is always huge on all dishes.

I really really wanted to like it…. In truth, it was not really really bad. But the pho was definitely missing a few things… Usually when I have been anywhere else for pho, you get a plate of sprouts, a couple lime wedges, a chili or two and some asian basil to toss in your tasty warm bowl of soup. I was shocked and disappointed to not get any of that here. I was having dinner with a friend I have not seen in a while who invited me, so it seemed inappropriate to make a comment at the time. I had ordered take-out from here a couple weeks before last night and I had a similar mediocre experience. I got the pork vermicelli bowl with spring rolls. It lacked what I love about Vietnamese food which is an equal combo of meat, rice noodles, AND fresh stuff like lettuce, sprouts, carrots etc… I think there was a small bit of lettuce and a bit more sprouts for the fresh stuff. I am not usually one to put a review up on here, but since I just moved to town and was disappointed…twice…I thought I would save someone else the same trouble. I think I will be trying the other place in town to get my Vietnamese fix, or back to my old haunt in Calgary at Ranchlands.
