Ordered a steak sandwich cooked medium w/ mashed potato. Tomato basil soup as a starter. My soup arrived…then immediately after my main meal! Oh well. I started into the steak sandwich. I have eaten many a steak sandwich all over the western provinces as an oilfield worker. I have to say this steak sandwich rates very high. The steak melts in your mouth. It was cooked exactly as requested. The mashed potato was creamy and tasty as well. The soup was good as well. Just wish it arrived a little sooner. Service was quick and to the point. I give it a 4 based on the food.

Awful awful service on the patio and restaurant side. I’ve been serving tables 10 years and it’s unbelievable to me servers can be THIS bad! Food took 45 minutes, sat without drinks for 30 minutes…deeply saddened. The bar side is super fun on the weekends though, but keep your expectations low if your planning on coming on weekends.
Really good steak night. Ate at the Texas gate bar the other week and it was really good! Cheap (6.95$) steak sandwich with veggies or fries, and of course a fun bar staff with lots of good drinks.
