Hidden Jem! At first I didn’t realize there was donairs and Shawarma available. This is the one place where the chicken is as flavorful as the beef and lots fresh toppings. The Indian dishes are also excellent and the Naan bread is great… although the butter chicken is a little bit on the sweet side.
Mediocre food, awful service. I’ve never received such inhospitable service from anywhere. The entire time I was rushed, bulled, and given attitude for not knowing exactly what I want. They gave no recommendations when I asked, and basically chastised me for not being familiar with Indian/Pakistani cuisine. I Will never patronize this establishment again.
We have only tried this place once and may have ordered the wrong thing so we will order a couple other things and update our review if we get something significantly better. Ordered the fish curry with garlic nan and plain rice, everything was great, except for the fish itself. It was rubbery and has a horrible taste plus it was nowhere near spicy enough. Just don’t get the fish curry.
Good overall. Veg korma nice with sneaky heat. Veg & beef samosa both nicely done. Veg pakoras a little short on variety for vegs but very good & not greasy. The riata could stand some thickening up & it’s very very mild. Peas palau a bit on the small side for a take out order. Tasted great. I’ll go back.
I had a Donair here (or a Shwarma) a few days ago, I don’t believe it’s listed on the menu. It was delicious, better than the establishment nearby that I won’t name. The Donair was packed with meat, it was hot, nicely spiced & just all around tasty. Sweet sauce was also really good. Definitely hit the spot, I’ll be going here for my next fix 🙂
Terrible food. Greasy and unappetizing. Not many vegetarian dishes and delivery took over an hour for to a house that was les than 5k away.
