It was recently renovated and rebranded as S.T.A.Y 22 Cafe. My favorite is still the Crispy/ Roast Pork and Duck on rice, but they have a lot of new selections. They also serve dim sum all day! They have private rooms available.
First off the service is rude. Big turn off straight away. Second, this is a Chinese restaurant attempting to serve Vietnamese cuisine. They haven’t exactly mastered it yet. The soup is very bland, almost flavourless and even the spring roll are sub par. There are just so many better options in Calgary for high quality Vietnamese cuisine.
My review. I’ll be honest here. I’ve never had a problem with this place and I’m white. They have good food and they are pretty nice people, they dont ignore me or my friends whenever we went there. They have never gotten my order wrong for the two to three years they have been running that place. Don’t like it ? Go somewhere else.
