Good, but needs more flavour overall. Limited baking (read: no egg tarts), but congee options are plentiful & popular. Soup dumplings are decent. (4/5…

I would give this place a negative review if I could. Stopped in for dim sum on Friday afternoon and Service- non existent – hostess actually passed us the dim sum list half way to our table and just pointed to the empty booth. We had to walk the rest of our way ourselves- given that she never walked us to the table, she never asked us if we wanted tea/water therefore, we never got any – sat there for 15+ minutes waiting to order food and drinks and no one came by. I tried to wave someone over but they didn’t even look our way. – when we walked out, the hostess didn’t even acknowledge usFoodwhile we didn’t have a chance to order anything, we did look at the menu and- it’s pricey for dim sum with the average price being $7-8 – very limited dim sum menu – single column, larger font than usual and the backside was all noodles/rice/congeeWe left and went to Bobby Chaos down the street (for the record, the waitress at Bobby Chaos greeted us right away, pointed to a table and returned to clean it while apologizing it wasn’t ready right away even though the restaurant was full, asked for our tea order. And then within 1min, another waitress came by to ask for our tea order)- it’s limited for dim sum. There’s a
We are regulars here. It’s no Michelin star restaurant but we find it is the best money for value/taste/service. Don’t limit yourself to the beef& broccoli or ginger beef etc… they do loads of very delicious and more authentic Chinese food.
We ordered takeout. We had two spring rolls, the beef and broccoli with rice, and Singapore noodles. All of it was okay, but lacked the kind of flavour that I crave.
Great place for awesome authentic Chinese food. I’ve only been here once since it’s out of my way far in the NW but if I’m ever in the area I will always keep it in mind for a visit. Can’t comment on their Canadianised Chinese food menu since I’m sure there are better places for that.
Always our go to restaurant for Chinese food. The servers are friendly and the traditional Chinese food is very delicious. You can count on quality food and freshness. You can’t go wrong here.
Went here for dim sum. Had to wait a few minutes at the door before a server came. The food was very good. Would come again for sure. Excellent salt and pepper squid.
Always go there for lunch with family on Saturday, never disappointed. Marinated whole chicken (Gwai Fay Kai) is always my fav dish. Great service
