I’ve always liked the sugar shack and the lady that owns it is a sweetie. I do have one beef though (pun intended). The hamburger patties were the thinnest I’ve ever seen and not great tasting last time I went. I was very disappointed as I like supporting the small guy. It’s a great little business and I will keep going there but will never order another burger again. I hope the owners see this and know it’s just an honest criticism. Please get better patties I’d rather support you over any fast food place.
Best Burgers in Town!. I’ve been going to the Sugar Shack for 2 years now since I moved to Devon. This place has hit the spot for me every time. Whenever I want go to a different place to grab some food (switch things up a bit), I regret my decision.. For quality and price you can’t go wrong.. A banana milkshake along with their double bacon cheese burger will make you more satisfied than ever… I am surprised at how strong this restaurant is going and I’ve heard it’s been open for a while now too!I will be taking my family more often now for ice creams when this weather gets better (if it ever does!!). I’ll also be waiting for any more unique side orders!! Keep up the good work!!
Me and my husband stopped here to grab some burgers. My husband got the bacon cheese burger with onion rings and I got the cheese burger with poutine. These burgers were gross!! I took a bite of mine and there was a chunk of something that was beige in color cooked right into the meat. The fries were under cooked and the onion rings tastes like they had been sitting in the grease for days. My recommendation is to go to the a&w next door if you want a burger.

6/10. Friendly Service, Decent Speed, Mediocre Food. I normally like small independent burger joints, and i will come back but it wasnt that great.nice place to stop if youre passing through looking for that burger baron style ghetto burger.Donair was loose and had minimal meat but I did like the sauce.Burger tasted like it was from a box of frozen patties on the discount shelf at safewayOinion Rings could have been better but way better than most places of this nature.
Even with DQ across the street, we would never consider going anywhere else for ice cream. Sugar Shack is the BEST!
