Ive had the chance to dine both at the downtown location and the West Edmonton Mall location and both are about the same with the downtown location edging out slightly. Steakhouses usually dont excite me. I find theyre incredibly average and overpriced for what you get but Atlas Steak + Fish is really refreshing. The restaurant itself is of course top notch; beautiful decor, live piano music and the staff are incredibly attentive and polite. Prices are fair; they have expensive over the top items and they have cheaper more affordable items as well if youre not there to splurge. Im gonna go on rapid fire here as Ive tried a lot of dishes. Before your meal they also offer you their in house baked bread with blue cheese butter. Their Charcuterie is amazing value compared to other places, the portion is easily shared among 4+ people. Their Ahi Tuna Poke was all right, needed a bit more seasoning and chips to eat it with. The Mussels and Clams were super tasty. Good amount of saltiness with the sauce and the shellfish were decently fresh. They even have table side Caesar salad ($14/person), a little pricey but worth it if you like the theatrics. The best though is their Steak Tartare. Their Miso Mustard sauce is what makes that dish! Now I didnt have any steak but Im sure Ill be back one day for some. The Salmon was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I got the Tomahawk Pork Chop. Youre looking at a good 10-12oz of well seasoned meat here. Anyways they dont really offer a lot of veg on the plates but who needs that when you got that much meat? I also got their Spicy Lobster Spaghettini. Could use more lobster in my opinion. But the pasta was cooked nicely and the sauce was seasoned well but overall not that spicy. Their Wild Mushroom Risotto is a real delight. Theyre not playing around with the assortment of mushrooms loaded in. Salty, cheesy mushroom goodness. To finish things off I got their Salted Caramel Creme Brle. Its cooked sous vide which makes it super smooth and velvety. It makes regular Creme Brle cooked in a water bath look dated haha. Overall you cant go wrong with Atlas Steak + Fish. Youll leave satisfied and wanting more. I would say Atlas has done a great job on adding a refreshing twist to the same old Steakhouse formula. Prices are super fair and the service you get is amazing. Ill be back for sure.

I decided to check this restaurant out for a belated birthday dinner before the garth brooks concert one night. I had made reservations weeks in advance expecting it to be busy and from reading other reviews in regards to slow service during event nights.Upon arriving we were seated immediately after being greeted by the manager who told us he had a nice booth waiting for us. We noticed both booths and tables in the restaurant. Our server Kyla was absolutely amazing, she was extremely knowledgable and very informative offering explanations of menu items and recommendations as well as explaining a bit about the background of the restaurant in relation to the Grand Villa casino. The service we received from her during our dining experience completely exceeded my expectations by far.We received a delicious warm pan bread to start with blue cheese butter, which unfortunately I was not a fan of as I don’t care for blue cheese. We had the ahi tuna to start which was a nice start to dinner. My friend and I shared the 10oz new york strip, medium rare as Kyla suggested the chef recommends and we weren’t disappointed with our choice. You have the option to chose different sides which are separately priced to accompany your steak. Prior to ordering Kyla informed us the steak comes with a warm potato salad as a side.We added josper grilled vegetables as well as sauteed jumbo prawns which were definitely jumbo indeed. They use a josper oven to cook some of their menu items which is supposed to create a smoky flavour which I didn’t overly notice but could taste a hint of smokiness in the food.We were too full for dessert but it was nice of Kyla to exclude two drinks from our bill instead as she knew we were celebrating my birthday. Beautiful restaurant, loved that the drink menu is provided on an ipad. We had an amazing experience here, the food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic! Also want to add the manager Jamie was also very generous enough to allow my dad to play the Boston piano, before their piano player took over for the night and it really made the night that much more special! Wish I would have taken pictures but I was too busy enjoying myself to do that. Gives me the excuse to come back to try the other delicious sounding menu items! Will definitely be back and happy to say I will be recommending to others!

We went here for our Xmas party and had a really great experience! The service was excellent and Suki was such a pleasure to talk to. They even were able to make delicious Lychee martinis! The food was good too. We ordered oysters to start and 3 other people ordered steaks, but had to order their sides separately. Everything came out at once. I would have liked to of seen a bit more variety with the oyster garnishes since we paid $40 for a dozen. In the end, we had a fabulous time and they treated us lovely. Will be back again 🙂

Beautiful restaurant. The food is quite expensive, but good. We ordered steak, fish, a side of sauted shrimp and side of vegetables (9$ but a good portion). When they brought the food, the veggies were cold so they exchanged it no problem. The servers were nice, but service slow. Waited 20 minutes and had to go to the bar to ask for our bill at the end. In general, we liked our experience. Cool Ipad as cocktails and wine menu. The best thing: a piano player! He played pop songs and sadly only stayed untill 10 pm. 😉
