First visit ever to the Bistro for me. Not what I expected when we walked in the door. Restaurant is supper crowded and soooooo loud. We get told by the waitress that we can choose that one or than one for our table with our reservation. Who talks to customers that way? After choosing our own table we wait for the same waitress to come with menus. She leaves without taking our drink order. After several minutes shes back tells us he specials and takes our drink order. Drinks arrive and we order our meals. Salads arrive first. Simple tomato lettuce and grated cheese. Cheese spot tray to share is next followed by our entrees. Duck is over cooked, served with check dumplings that have the texture of sliced bread and sauerkraut . Arctic char looks fabulous and is cooked well. Schnitzel is tough, over cooked and has a disappointing flavor served with a boring potato salad. Schnitzel is suppose to be the house speciality? Apple strudel to share. Apples are still crunchy and pastry is flaky. Does not make up for the rest of our meal. We will not be back
