Very poor service in the bar, unsure of why it is so popular. The service was slow, around 10mins for initial contact then a further 20 min wait or so for a terrible platter. Mozzarella cheese sticks with no cheese in them (see picture) cold wings, cold chicken strips, random unannounced tortilla chips on the plate and really, really gross boneless rib bites. Sorry guys but this was awful, your service was awful and as soon as the wait staff knew we knew it was awful, they completely avoided us. Had to call the girl over every time to be served, no attention to customers at all. Overpriced, pretentious fried crap that can be charged at its price because of its location – don’t waste your money! Downtown Dining week offer crap too – really, don’t waste your money!!
This place has nice decorations and great services. The chicken wings and salad are delicious. Really nice place to hangout and watch sport games.
Kelly’s pub has potential but too bad it just plain sucks. It’s like I never learn, and after several times of being there, the service always is poor. Ordered onion rings, waited half an hour for onion rings as waitress talked up another table. Received cold onion rings. UGH! By then, we didn’t want to wait around for the onion rings, which probably would have just been double fried to heat it up. This place is obnoxious on weekend nights, with loud patrons being disrespectful to the neighbourhood and yelling at all hours. I’ll try to walk by and the sidewalk is littered with cigarette butts and loaded with people smoking, including Kelly herself. Beer here is ok but I don’t really trust their glasses all too much. Save yourself the time and money. Go elsewhere.
If you are looking for a good sports bar in downtown, I would say this is one of the best.The food is great and they have a wide variety of beers on tap.
I LOVE that this place moved downtown from their old locationin Oliver.Now they are practically in my backyard. They have a decent selection of beers and it is a great place to visit on game night. Plus: parking across 104th.
Food is great. Cant get enough of the atmosphere. Food is reasonably priced. And the place is always busy. Its a great choice for game night with friends
I keep it simple when establishments are good. Good food. Good service. Excellent location. Featured in Avenue Magazine for their patio. Can’t go wrong with drinks and a snack.
