Not a great experience not even a good experience. If youre going to be running or even working at an Italian restaurant you need some knowledge of Italian food and beverages. Not knowing what pancetta is ??? An Aperol spritz ? Or even Campari? The food although large portions very unsatisfying bland and uninspired. This is Edmonton we have some of the best Italian restaurants in Canada if youre going out for Italian this is not a good choice.

Great staff, great food, and lots of it. We will definitely be back. Everyone in our family enjoyed their meal. Surprised it wasnt busier but I guess it is a Monday night.
My boyfriend and I went for dinner here to celebrate a special occasion. We had heard that this restaurant was a cute Italian restaurant and were looking forward to trying it out. Unfortunately, we didnt have a great experience here, and it all boiled down to the service by our waitress, or lack there of. We had reservations and were sat quickly when we entered the restaurant. Unfortunately, that was the most positive part of our experience. We were not greeted by our waitress for twenty minutes, and it look thirty minutes from being seated to receive our drink orders. We started by ordering a salad, which came out after a decent time. Once finished, it took twenty minutes for our server to clear our plates. I was facing the kitchen at my table, and saw our food come up, ready to go. It took over ten minutes for the food to be walked from the kitchen to our table, which was about five steps away. Even though our food was barely warm, it was very tasty, which is the only reason why I have rated this restaurant a 3 instead of a 1. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Though the food was decent, the negligent service tainted our experience here and we will not be returning.
A friend of mine that I consider a pasta authority said this was the best spot in the city to get the good stuff. Good enough for me. Came in on a Saturday night and the place was a bit under half full, we sat down up top with a bit of a view into the kitchen. The other recommendation we got was the mussels they had may be best in the city, no need to tell me twice. Unfortunately we watched as the table next to us, who arrived about 5 minutes later was eating their appetizers yet we hadn’t even been asked what we’d like to eat yet. After realizing this we made sure we placed our entire order at the same time to limit the amount of delays. When the mussels did come they were every bit as good as promised, beautiful sauce and the mussels were all delicious, not a bad one in the pot.Iordered the crab asparagus ravioli and the others had spaghetti Bolognese and one roasted quail duo. Once I flagged down another waitress nearby to get some pepper and parmesan added we were all excited to dig in.I’m sure theyhave a mother sauce in the back thatthey add to for certain dishes that was also used on our mussels andit was everybit asgood on the ravioli. The Bolognese sauce was just rich and velvety likely the best dish of the night. The quailwas also good, cooked nicely, but no comparison to a near perfect sauce.Unfortunately again, our drinks have run dry and there’s no bread left on the table. At this point the familythat came after us has finished eating and left, so has the rest of the place. But no server to be found. We managed to track her down and get another round of drinks. As she came back we had all our leftovers packed up and believe me we had lots, giant portions here. We ordered a single coffee on her return but missed asking for the check. Another great length of time passed and nowwe’ve packed up our food together for the walk, the coffee is long gone and we’re sitting waiting in an empty restaurant for our check. We ended up flagging her down to get it. My first thought was our server had an off night or maybe something on her mind, but after reading more reviews I realized this isn’t a one off it looks like a normal occurrence. I’ve said this before, I’m under no illusions of where an online restaurant reviewer is on the totem pole but you’ve got all the tools here, great food, nice atmosphere, location is right in the heart of the city, service is the easy part, don’t fumble at the 5 yard line. I will be back, solely based on the food, hopefully I am wrong about the service.
I called to find out whether they were serving lunch or dinner the girl on the phone said it’s 4 they are serving dinner. I also asked where’s the best place to park. She said I dunno I don’t drive. We found a spot in front but the whole place was dark. I found someone to ask if they were closed and they said we start dinner at 5. Luckily I hadn’t paid for parking yet because I wanted to look at the menu first. Maybe they should figure when they are actually opened.
Terrible and dishonest. My wife called to make a reservation ahead of time and confirmed with them if they have a high chair before making the reservation and they said yes. After 20 mins of driving and paying for parking we were told that they do not have a high chair. What kind of a business pulling this trickery to their customers? Save yourself all the troubles, money and go somewhere else.
